Neville Special Projects have recently completed works on a Memorial Garden project for Bedfordshire Police. This garden was created to be a place of reflection and remembrance, providing necessary space for the police, the bereaved and their families to come together to pay tribute, grieve, and to find solace in their memories.
To celebrate this new Memorial Garden, and to pay tribute to those being remembered, Bedfordshire Police organised an opening ceremony event – to which our team were invited. The ceremony was attended by members of the police force, sponsors, and those from the wider community, and included speeches, readings and a beautiful performance by a local choir. The ceremony was a lovely way to open the garden, as well as a moment of remembrance.
As well as NSP, our sister company Neville Funerals’ Memorials team provided the plaque displayed in the garden, which will shortly be mounted on a memorial stone, sourced by the Neville Memorials team.
We are proud to have been part of the construction of this very special garden and to be involved in the opening ceremony – thank you to everyone who was involved in the planning and running of the event.
