Project Update | London Luton Airport – Hangar 9

We were proud to recently see the opening of London Luton Airport’s (LLA) first Consolidation Centre at Hangar 9, delivered in partnership with GXO Logistics, Inc.✈️

Awarded in 2025, this complex refurbishment involved the delivery of roof and structural works within a live airport environment, showcasing our expertise in managing challenging operational projects.

The completed scheme has transformed the facility with a refreshed exterior, enhanced security, improved weather protection and greater energy efficiency, helping to extend the building’s lifespan while supporting the airport’s future operations.

Beyond the construction works, the project delivered significant social value through apprenticeship opportunities, engagement with local students and community initiatives, reflecting our commitment to creating a positive impact alongside every project we deliver.

This project marks another successful milestone in our long-standing relationship with LLA, and we're proud of the collaboration, dedication and expertise shown by everyone involved in bringing Hangar 9 to completion.
