Client: St Albans High School for Girls

Alteration works comprised of: internal alterations to the main school building to create two new classrooms; a home economics area within the existing canteen; reconfigured toilet facilities; a new caretaker’s office, with new lighting, flooring, redecorations and window refurbishments throughout; and external works to create new car parking area with traffic control and flood prevention remedial measures, and repairs and renovations to the existing Grade 2 listed front wall and gates.

The works took place during the school’s summer holiday period, although special care had to be taken due to summer school activities.
