Project Progress | Monarch Aircraft Engineering Hangars, London Luton Airport

Neville Special Projects is pleased to show continued progress across the refurbishment works at the Monarch Aircraft Engineering Hangars at London Luton Airport, a key project supporting the airport’s ongoing operational capability and future growth.


Hangar 9

We have been appointed by GXO Logistics, Inc. to deliver the Category B fit-out of Hangar 9 consolidation centre. The majority of works are now complete and progressing in line with the programme, with handover approaching.


Hangar 60

Significant progress has been achieved, including the completion of engine bay cladding works. A new crane has been installed in the engine bay. Lift shaft cladding is now underway, and roof lights have been installed to enhance internal working conditions. Hangar doors have also been reskinned as part of the refurbishment works.


Hangar 127

Construction of the new line office has commenced, with hangar door refurbishment now complete. Roof lights have been installed, and 1st fix M&E works are well underway, supporting the next phase of the programme.These works showcase Neville Special Projects’ expertise in delivering complex, large-scale refurbishment schemes within live aviation environments, driven by close collaboration, meticulous planning, and a steadfast commitment to quality and programme performance.
