Raising Awareness: The Importance of Mental Health in the Construction Industry

Last week, we were proud to welcome the The Lighthouse Charity - hashtag#MakeItVisible team onto our site at London Luton Airport.

We paused operations for an hour to listen to a powerful lived-experience talk, helping raise awareness of mental health in the construction industry - a conversation that matters more than ever, particularly during the festive period.

The session shone a light on the importance of breaking down stigma and reminded everyone that support is available 24/7 through the Lighthouse Charity. Their free, confidential services cover emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing, offering vital support to those working across construction.

At Neville Special Projects, the wellbeing of our people is not optional - it’s essential. Creating space for open conversations like these is one way we continue to put people at the heart of everything we do.
