Sentimental Visit from our Sister Company, Neville Funerals

At Neville Special Projects, we know that every project is built on more than steel and structure — it’s built on people, careers, and stories that span generations.

As we continue to work closely with London Luton Airport (LLA) on a multi-million pound hangar refurbishment project, one recent site visit carried particularly special meaning for Karl from Neville Funerals.

“When I was leaving school, I was looking at engineering companies for apprenticeships, mainly within the aviation industry at LLA. One of those companies was Monarch — based in the very hangars that Neville Special Projects are now working to refurbish.

As the project is nearing completion, it felt only right to have the opportunity to go and have a tour. It’s not until you stand inside the hangars that you truly appreciate just how massive they are, and the amount of teamwork, leadership, and dedication that goes into a project of this scale.

After 45 years of employment, looking back, I’m proud of the career path I chose and the opportunities it has given me.”

Stories like Karl’s are a reminder of the legacy behind the Neville Group and the people who have shaped it over the decades.

A fantastic moment reflecting on careers, opportunities, and the scale of what our teams continue to deliver together.
