Supporting a Love of Reading in Northamptonshire

At Neville Special Projects, we’re proud to share the completion of a very special community initiative – a brand new Reading & Book Swap Shed for Harpole Primary School in Northamptonshire.
This project was about more than just constructing a shed. It was about creating a welcoming space where children and families can come together, share stories, exchange books, and nurture a lifelong love of reading.
We were delighted to both fund and build the shed, and even more pleased to see members of our team donate books to help get it started. Knowing that these books are already being enjoyed by pupils and families makes the project even more meaningful.
As a member of staff shared in her message to us:
“The shed has already become a much-loved space for our pupils and families… Your generosity has made a lasting and meaningful difference to our school and wider community.”
Hearing that the shed is already a valued part of school life is exactly why community projects like this matter so much to us.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. We look forward to seeing the Reading Shed enjoyed for many years to come. 🌟
