Client: East of England Ambulance Service
Duration: 20 weeks
To provide a new ambulance hub for the East of England Ambulance Service in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
The scope of works included:
• A two-storey steel framed structure, housing offices, a training room, lockers
and new rest facilities.
• A warehouse with space for 14 ambulances and charge bays.
• A make-ready area.
• A wash bay.
• External storage facilities.
The project was part of a wider scheme and there were strict timescales which meant the project had to be delivered on time to enable the station to become fully operational.
