Stevenage Ambulance Hub

Client: East of England Ambulance Service

Duration: 20 weeks

Neville Special Projects won the contract to provide a new ambulance hub for the East of England Ambulance Service, based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

The scope of works included: a two-storey steel framed structure, housing offices, a training room, lockers and new rest facilities; a warehouse with space for 14 ambulances and charge bays; a make-ready area; a wash bay; and external storage facilities.

The project was part of a wider scheme, and the team were subject to strict timescales which meant the project had to be delivered on time to enable the station to become fully operational.
