Client: Luton Culture
The Hat District is a collection of historic listed buildings built in the late 1800’s, consisting of multi-storey buildings located in the middle of Luton town centre and surrounded by residential blocks of flats, two public houses and shops. The area is in a live, busy town centre location with no road or right of way closures.
In recent years the buildings have been used by a number of different businesses including a night club, gym and church.
The Culture Trust are investing heavily in the area with the view of regenerating a number of hat factory buildings, bringing some local culture and small businesses back to the area.
